Psychological treatment is offered under a range of funding streams. If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your treating GP, you may be eligible for rebated treatment - in most cases this is limited to 6+4 sessions per year. We also accept privately funded referrals and can provide invoicing for claiming via private health insurance. We accept NDIS referrals and are happy to consider other funding options, including TAC, WorkCover and VoCAT.
Initial assessments are typically 90 minutes and may include relevant psychometric testing to assist with the development of a tailored treatment plan + GP letters.
MHCP rebate may apply. Other funding will be invoiced for 1.5 hours
Standard therapy sessions are 50-60 minutes. Treatment sessions will flow from the treatment plan that we develop with you during assessment. Psychometrics may be given during treatment to measure your progress over time.
EMDR sessions are typically 90 minutes' duration. This allows for processing of the trauma experience + 'stabilising' before session closure. A full 90 minute session will be billed up to maximum rate. You will only be billed for the time that you are actually in treatment.
